ULITA – an Archive of International Textiles

Group Visits

We have welcomed many group visits from student groups to specialist societies.  Group visits can be arranged to view the current exhibition and to see a selection of items from the store.

There is seating available for 20 people in the exhibition area.   Small groups of 10 or less may request to see the stores and/or items not on display.  Large groups can be split between the exhibition and store viewing. Please let us know if any member of a group would need assistance down a staircase in an evacuation situation (also see our accessibility details).  We will ask groups using the collection to abide by handling guidelines.

An average group visit will take one hour. We can also recommend other cultural venues on campus to include in your visit.

We also work with school groups, and have frequently visited schools to bring the ULITA experience into the classroom, e.g. 2008 work with local schools and displaying work of schools and community groups.

Please phone or email us to discuss your groups requirements.
