International Textiles and Costume Congress
Closely associated with Ars Textrina is the International Textiles and Costume Congress (ITCC), a development involving the participation of institutions across much of Asia, as well as parts of north, west and east Africa; several individuals based in either north America or parts of Europe are also involved.
The congress meets on a bi-annual basis. The intention is to foster and develop knowledge relating to the textiles and costumes of the world. It is planned to develop an academic journal associated with the congress, and this will be hosted on ULITA’s website in the future.
